John Adams Virtual School has two programs to fit your needs.
Program #1: Our Adult Program Fast Track Program:
John Adams Virtual School has developed a High School Equivalency Testing Program (GED testing online)
to meet the needs of those adults in need of a high school general education diploma. The tests used on our program are the same tests designed and administered through the Department of Education and State GED testing facilities.
The adult graduate by exam program consists a comprehensive online multiple choice exam in the subject areas:
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- English Reading
- English Writing
- Final written Essay
We require each student completes an essay of a minimum of 250-words after they have passed all exams. Students will choose from pre-selected topics in an area in which they feel comfortable to describe in writing. Students will receive their final grades on their final essay within 24-hours or less.
Tests are usually proctored and taken online and delivered via electronic means. This is a great option for adults that need their high school diploma in just 2-6 weeks. You must be 16- years of age with legal guardian’s consent and comply with your State’s compulsory laws to apply.
We recommend this program for adults 18-years of age or older only.
Program #2. Traditional 9-12 High School Program:
Our High School correspondence program is available for students ages 14 through adult. We offer every course required to complete your high school studies, including many elective courses, all completed from the comfort and convenience of home. Each grade level of study is broken down into 2-semesters, just as a traditional high school. This is a great option for home schooled students that could use instructor and counseling services.
